- Guarantee applies to web design and development only. Guarantee
does not apply to SEO (search engine optimization) due to the
nature of the work. Furthermore, it does not apply to, but not
limited to, hosting, domain names, ssl certificates, or any
other product or service not related to web design (graphics
only) or web development (programming, html coding, database
development).
- Certain restrictions and time limits apply to be elligible
for a refund. Web design and development at Etchedweb is devided
into 2 stages:
- STAGE 1 - Graphic web design

Graphic design is the first stage of any new/redesigned
web site. During this stage a graphic template, which is
actually a single image, is generated for your review. Once
the first template is generated it will be sent to you for
your approval. Few templates are approved at template 1;
therefore after you submit changes to this template, we
will generate template 2 and request your changes again
which will lead to template 3, template 4, etc. Once said
template has been approved by you, the first stage is over
and stage 2 is invoked automatically.
- STAGE 2 - Development
of site -
In this stage, your template (which is only an image at
the end of stage 1) is converted into a real HTML page and
further developed into a real working web site. This stage
can include any of the following, but not limited to, HTML
coding, programming, database design and setup, necessary
graphic design on individual sections of the site, etc.
Stage 2 is mostly for content and functionality purposes;
whereas stage 1 is the overall look of the site.
- STAGE 1 refund policy
- If you are not satisfied with the look of the template
for any reason, we will gladly issue you a complete
refund of all web design and development fees paid (minus
any non-refundable products or services such as, but
not limited to, domain names, SSL certificates, etc).
You must request your full refund BEFORE development
proceeds to stage 2.
- If you approve a template, stage 2 is invoked automatically
and you are no longer eligible for a refund on the graphic
design part of this offer.
- STAGE 2 refund policy
- We guarantee that all HTML coding, programming, and
database work is free of any defects. If defects are
present we will attempt to fix them.
- If we fail to fix said defects and the rest of the
web site is functional, we will refund you the appropriate
amount by prorating the cost to develop said defect.
- If we fail to fix said defects and the rest of the
web site is NOT functional, we will gladly refund you
the appropriate amount by prorating the cost to develop
said defect and non-functional part of the site due
to said defect.
- At no time shall we be liable for any defects due
to non-compatibility with other products beyond our
control such as, but not limited to, older web browser
versions, web browser bugs, third party services or
products, etc.
- Changes to our risk free web design and development offer
will be posted here for your review.
